Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly. Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant.

In my opinion Gustavo is not only a kind of a new Mick Goodrick (famous Boston guitar teacher) in the sense that his approaches influence the avantgarde of contemporary electric guitarists, but foremost 1.) a important figure for the instrument in general due to the fact that he complements this North American stringed piece of wood with a palette of South-American influences and hence truely "americanizes" it and 2.) a great artist, composer and bandleader as this wonderful album exemplifies.
